The CIWS is no longer active.

The Canadian Injured Workers Society was formed in 2005 by a group of injured Canadian employees and their family members from across the country who were interested in improving the workers compensation system in Canada.

The Society is a non-profit, non-charitable corporation registered with Corporations Canada.

The Board of Directors of the society is made up of representatives from across Canada who are injured workers or the immediate family member of an injured worker.

The CIWS is funded solely by memberships and donations. We DO NOT accept any money from any workers compensation board or their affiliates.

Membership in the society is open to any Canadian citizen interested in furthering the objects of the society as outlined in our

Mission Statement.

Membership is NOT restricted to injured workers only.
Any Canadian citizen may join.
