The Mental Health Commission of Canada plans to reach out to stakeholders regularly to obtain their input to help guide the Commission’s future work.

As a current part of this outreach process, the Commission is holding a series of stakeholder consultations in seven Canadian cities. The objective of these consultations is to launch an ongoing conversation with a wide range of stakeholders across the country. The Commission is committed to learning from the experience and wisdom of the individuals and organizations in the mental health field, and to exploring ways we can all work together to achieve our mutual goals.

You are invited to attend and participate in the stakeholder consultation taking place in your region.

As part of the process, your group or organization is invited to submit a two-page brief that responds to the following questions:

In the context of the Commission’s early priorities in development of an Anti-Stigma Program, a Knowledge Exchange Centre, and a National Mental Health Strategy,

  1. What would you like to see the Commission accomplish over the next three years, and
  2. How could your organization help the Commission and the mental health community to achieve these objectives?
